Josh Bartch is an accomplished investor, entrepreneur, and consultant with more than 15 years of experience in global capital markets. He has founded multiple successful ventures and participated in transactions totaling over $1 billion in value. His areas of focus include structuring deals, managing financing, mergers and acquisitions, reverse mergers, and advancing business development strategies across international markets.

He is the CEO of MavDB Consulting, LLC, and the founder of Blackstone Mercantile Group.

A Distinguished Career

Josh has developed a notable career by advising and investing in publicly traded companies listed on prominent global exchanges, such as the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq, London Stock Exchange, Euronext, Canadian Securities Exchange, and Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Born in Denver, Colorado, Josh began his entrepreneurial journey while attending Colorado State University. During that time, he launched his first business, which he later sold successfully.

In 2007, Josh co-founded AudioTranscriptionist.com, a digital platform that provides transcription services to clients across various sectors, including legal, academic, medical, and business. The company gained recognition for its reliability, accuracy, and fast service, building a nationwide client base.

In 2011, Josh established Evolutionary Ventures LLC, a boutique private investment and advisory firm. The firm concentrated on early-stage and growth-stage opportunities in industries such as technology, consumer goods, and finance. Its services included capital structuring, strategic partnerships, and preparing businesses for initial public offerings and listings on public exchanges.

In 2020, he moved to Puerto Rico and founded MavDB Consulting, LLC. This firm delivers corporate advisory services with a focus on capital markets strategy, investor relations, and cross-border listings. As CEO, he works directly with leadership teams and board members to help companies position themselves for uplifting, raise capital, and expand into new international markets.

Through MavDB, he operates as an extension of each client’s internal team. By using his long-standing industry relationships, he opens access to target markets and helps organizations connect with essential decision-makers. In 2024, Josh launched Blackstone Mercantile Group Ltd SAC, a Bahamas-based smart fund. The fund is structured under the Bahamas' Smart Fund framework and is designed for sophisticated investors seeking broad exposure to global capital markets. It employs a data-driven approach, combined with robust risk management, to identify high-potential opportunities and generate returns while ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations.

The creation of the fund reflects his strategic use of the Bahamian financial environment to offer flexible and efficient investment solutions tailored to evolving global market dynamics.

Throughout his career, he has played a significant role in structuring financing transactions for public companies, executing international listings, and guiding mergers. Bartch’s Philanthropic Work

Josh is also active in charitable work. He has donated to ND Hope to support the construction of schools in Africa. He contributes to various organizations that serve veterans and first responders and makes annual donations to Boxing Bullies in Puerto Rico. This non-profit, founded by Jake Paul, works to prevent bullying and empower youth through boxing. It has developed multiple gym facilities across the island to provide young people with a safe environment in which to build self-confidence and leadership skills.

Additionally, he contributed to disaster relief in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria, which caused significant damage to the region.
